Presiden Dibayangi Isu Papua Lepas Saat Ambil Alih Saham Freeport

JAKARTA, JAGAPAPUA.COM - Presiden Joko Widodo menceritakan momentum saat pemerintah akan mengambil alih saham Freeport. Jokowi menyampaikan dirinya sempat mendengar banyak isu menakutkan termasuk diantaranya terkait Papua. Namun akhirnya, ia terus mendorong menterinya untuk terus maju dan yakin mengambil langkah mengakuisisi saham Freeport tepat di bulan Desember pada 2018 lalu.

"Kadang-kadang kita terbayang oleh ketakutan kita sendiri. Dulu waktu kita mau ambil Freeport kembali, mayoritas informasi yang saya terima memang semuanya menakutkan. Menakutkan semuanya. Nanti Papua akan goncang, Papua akan lepas, Amerika akan marah," kata Jokowi saat memberikan sambutan di HUT PSI ke-7 di The Ballroom Djakarta Theater Building Jakarta, Rabu (22/12).

Pemerintah Indonesia melalui BUMN PT Inalum akhirnya mengakuisisi saham mayoritas PT Freeport Indonesia yang sebelumnya dimiliki oleh PT Freeport McMoran. Akuisisi saat itu dilakukan dengan dana US$ 3,85 miliar atau Rp 55,8 triliun sehingga kini Indonesia memiliki 51,2 persen saham Freeport.

Menurut Jokowi, pasca akuisisi saham itu ternyata hal-hal tersebut tidak terjadi, Indonesia telah terjebak dalam ketakutan-ketakutan yang belum tentu terjadi. Ia menekankan bahwa keputusan mengambil alih saham Freeport adalah keputusan yang benar dan bahkan kini Indonesia sudah memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih besar.

"Kalau mau, dalam tiga tahun sudah balik sekarang Rp 5 miliar lebih sedikit USD. Tahun depan kalau kita mau lepas lagi, kita untungnya gede banget, udah balik. Tapi Ndak, sudah mayoritas. Yang menentukan kita," tambahnya.

Ia juga menyinggung smelter Freeport di Gresik yang saat ini sudah berjalan. Dengan kepemilikan saham lebih dari separuh tersebut, Jokowi meyakini kontribusi Freeport lebih besar bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat.

"Dulu disuruh bikin smelter saja bertahun-tahun geleng-geleng terus. Sekarang enggak bisa, kita sudah 51 persen. Bikin smelter, nyatanya saya perintah, di Gresik sudah langsung dimulai karena memang pemiliknya kita sekarang," tuturnya.

Keuntungan Freeport Disalurkan ke Pemerintah Pusat dan Pemerintah daerah Papua

Pemerintah Kabupaten Mimika akan menerima dana sebesar Rp 300 miliar dari keuntungan bersih PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI). Keuntungan tersebut merupakan keuntungan PTFI sepanjang tahun 2020 lalu. Menurut Kepala Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Mimika Papua Dwi Cholifah mengatakan bahwa penyaluran keuntungan itu sesuai dengan ketentuan yang dimuat dalam UU Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara.

“Dalam waktu dekat ini Kabupaten Mimika akan menerima pembayaran Rp. 300 miliar dari bagian keuntungan bersih PT Freeport Indonesia. Hal itu diatur dalam UU Nomor 3 tahun 2020 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara yang merupakan perubahan atas UU Nomor 4 tahun 2009 ,” jelasnya di Timika pada Selasa (15/6/2021).

Berdasarkan UU ini mengatur adanya perubahan status PTFI yang semula Kontrak Karya menjadi IUPK atau Izin Usaha Pertambangan Khusus. Perusahaan pemegang IUPK diwajibkan menyerahkan 10 persen keuntungan kepada pemerintah, yaitu 4 persen kepada pemerintah pusat dan 6 persen kepada pemerintah daerah Papua.

Keuntungan 6 persen bagi pemda Papua masing-masing sebanyak 2,5 persen diberikan kepada Pemkab Mimika sebagai daerah penghasil, 2 persen bagi kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Papua dan 1,5 persen kepada Pemerintah Provinsi Papua.

“Dana Rp 300 miliar yang akan diterima Kabupaten Mimika itu merupakan bagian dari pembagian 2,5 persen sebagai daerah penghasil,” terang Dwi.

Keuntungan tersebut baru diperoleh pemerintah dari hasil operasional PTFI selama tahun 2020 lalu. Sedangkan pada tahun 2019, PTFI dan Kementerian ESDM menyampaikan tidak memiliki keuntungan sehingga tidak dapat menyetor keuntungan kepada para pemegang saham. (UWR)
