Warga Keberatan Pertashop Berdiri Dekat Pemukiman Padat Penduduk

BINTUNI, JAGAPAPUA.COM - Warga di Kampung Lama, Kabupaten Teluk Bintuni menyampaikan keberatan atas berdirinya Pertashop yang berada dekat dengan pemukiman padat penduduk. Warga meminta agar lokasi Pertashop juga memperhatikan lingkungan sekitar terutama pemukiman padat.

“Ada salah satu bisnis BBM pertashop yang berdiri dekat pemukiman padat penduduk, tempat pengisian BBM ini dekat dengan kami warga di Kampung Lama yang padat penduduknya. Kami tidak melarang kalian buka usaha pertashop karena sudah ada aturannya. Tapi tolong jangan dekat pemukiman warga bahkan dinding pagar pertashop standar dengan pemukiman warga,” ujar salah seorang warga yang enggan disebutkan namanya kepada jagapapua.com, Jumat (18/3/2022).

Keberatan warga ini berdasar pada kekhawatiran atas dampak berbahaya pendirian Pertashop/SPBU yang berada tepat di dekat pemukiman warga padat penduduk. Ia mengungkapkan setidaknya terdapat 4 dampak yang mungkin dapat ditimbulkan antara lain: 1. Bahaya kebakaran dan ledakan; 2. Bahaya keracunan; 3. Pencemaran lingkungan; 4. Bahaya listrik statis.

“Akhir-akhir ini kita ketahui ada kejadian kebakaran di Bintuni yang cukup memakan banyak material fisik dan mengakibatkan banyak warga yang kehilangan harta benda salah satunya adalah rumah. Hal ini memberi pesan kepada setiap warga Teluk Bintuni untuk lebih berhati-hati terhadap bahaya dan resiko kebakaran,” ungkapnya.

Menurutnya, kejadian kebakaran di Bintuni ini harus menjadi perhatian semua pihak untuk lebih waspada terutama bagi warga di pemukiman padat penduduk. Ia menyampaikan keprihatinan terhadap para warga korban kebakaran yang kini telah kehilangan harta benda termasuk tempat tinggal.

“Banyak warga kita yang kehilangan rumah dan harta benda mereka, kita mungkin bisa tidur nyenyak tapi mereka yang kehilangan rumah tidak bisa tidur dengan baik karena menunggu rumah mereka kembali dibangun,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut, ia menambahkan, saat ini di dunia bisnis, keberadaan Pertashop telah menjamur di Kota Bintuni dan hampir memonopoli pasar BBM seantero pusat kota Bintuni. Kondisi ini dinilai menyulitkan perekonomian warga terutama para pengecer BBM.

“Ini cara bisnis yang monopoli pasaran mikro kecil dan mengakibatkan para pengecer minyak di kota Bintuni mengeluh. Mereka mau usaha apa lagi untuk menghidupkan keluarga mereka. Kalau pertashop sudah menjamur seantero pusat kota Bintuni, kami mau kemana lagi, kami mau usaha apa lagi. Kami Anak Negeri akan menjadi penonton di tempat kami sendiri,” ungkapnya. (MW)
